- Post Graduation:

Having a master's degree makes it easy for one to land a job slightly above the entry level openings and that too with a much better pay package.
You can do your masters in Management (MBA/MMS) or any other field in which you wish to specialize.
Jobs in areas like highly skilled areas like HR, Marketing, Consulting, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, etc are almost impossible to come by with a PG degree like MBA.
- Taking up a job:
With growing awareness among corporate recruiters about the versatility of BMS graduates, a trend of hiring BMS graduates for entry level job is clearly visible.
BMS graduates are recruited by banking services, placement agencies, advertising agencies, publishing houses, service oriented industry, market research companies, etc.
Many colleges have good relationships with many companies and provide placements to their students. But you can also find a right job for yourself by posting your resumes on different job portals, scanning different newspapers for job openings/ walk-ins, etc.
Meeting new people, especially those having lots of contacts is equally important. Interact with lots of people, exchange your visiting cards, join groups on the internet, etc. You never know how you may land up in your next job.
Garnering experience for sometime by taking up a job and then pursuing a PG (may be MBA) will be much better proposition. The experience you gain in your job will be invaluable. Doing PG after a job will help you relate what you learn with what you already know. Earning some money during job will increase your bank balance (if you save your income wisely and not spending extravagantly) and help you to finance your further studies without undertaking the burden of debt.
- Starting your own business:
If you are one of those few with never satiating fire in the belly, then starting your own business is something you should strongly consider. Give your dreams and passions a 100% shot, play the cards right and we are sure you will succeed in your endeavor.
