You as a moderator/domain expert will be responsible for healthy of the forum you choose to moderate.
3 core moderator activities:
- Develop - Developing content for the forum
- Promote - Promoting the content generated and engaging user with the same
- Grow - Find creative ways in which value can be added to the forum and readership can be enhanced
Your Role & Duties as a Forum Moderator :
- Identify and create suitable content on regular basis for the respective forum/sub-forum you are in-charge of
- Prepare a list of such topics in advance and submit the same to admin.
- Start 1 topic every week (i.e. 4-5 topics every month) in your forum category/sub-category on the day of the week assigned by the admin.
- Actively engage users in healthy discussion and troubleshoot users’ doubts
- Monitor and regulate healthy functioning of the category/forum/sub-forum you are in-charge of
