The academic year spans from late February to
November.

Requirements
Applying to Australian university can be a lengthy process, hence
students should plan and apply well in advance. Normally the deadline
for admission for first semester is in mid - November (about 15th Nov)
and mid - May (about 15th May) for the second semester.
Your TOEFL score should be around 550-600; IELTS should be between
6.0-7.0.
Your previous academic performance is considered at the time for
admission as the entry to the university is quite competitive.
Application form (157W) for Student Visa needs to be procured from the
Australian High Commission free of cost or can be obtained from the
education agents.
Government registered Australian education institute will provide
"Letter of Offer" to those students as the evidence of enrolment. The
same needs to be provided along with bona-fides, financial status, etc
at the time of application of student visa.
Preliminary Visa Assessment (PVA) requirements needs to be met by the
candidate to be eligible for further processing. The applicant then
needs to pay his/her tuition fees to the institute and fees for medicals
